As a Non-Attorney Special Education Advocate & Nurse Consultant, I'm deeply committed to supporting children and families as they navigate the complexities of special education programs in the public education system. My journey began in 2007 as a Registered Nurse, specializing in adult cardiac transplantation and critical care management. Over time, my role expanded to encompass multi-system training and coordination for children who are medically fragile and those with complex behavioral health needs. This diverse experience provided me with extensive knowledge and a unique understanding of medical, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental diagnoses, particularly as they intersect with education and a child's ability to learn.
